ESSIC Scientist James Farquhar has been elected as a Fellow of the Geochemical Society, an honorary title for outstanding scientists majorly contributied to the field of geochemistry. The title is bestowed by the Geochemical Society and The European Association of Geochemistry. Â According to the Geochemical Society website, the fellowship and other awards are given “as part of our mission to encourage the application of chemistry to the solution of geological and cosmological problems.”
