Raghu Murtugudde was an invited expert on Land Sources for Marine Ecosystem Variability, EU-COST Working Group, Istanbul, December 9. On December 29 and 30 he gave invited talks at the National institute of Oceanography (NIO),Vizhag, India on “Regional Earth System Prediction for Coastal Carbon Management” and “Dynamic and Thermodynamic Coupling and Ecosystem-biogeochemical Responses to Climate Change” respectively. On January 1, again at NIO-Vizhag, he talked on “Earth, Life, and Sustainability: The Art of Long-term Thinking.”
