ESSIC assistant research scientist Ariana Sutton-Grier is an invited speaker at the annual American Institute for Architecture (AIA) conference in Philadelphia, PA. Sutton-Grier will present during a session entitled, “Bridging Architecture: Extreme Weather and Troubled Waters in Coastal Cities.” Her talk will address the importance of coastal green and hybrid infrastructure as a means of improving coastal resilience. The conference will take place from May 19 – 21, 2016 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
